I have a number of Buckeye fire extinguishers and have used a 5lb Co2 and a 10lb Co2 to prevent kitchen fires from going 911. Boy O Boy they did the job and didn’t have the dry chem type to clean up afterwards with. I was very, very lucky that somehow I had the foresight to get the first Co2 5lb. I got a 10lb to have because it was going to take a bit of time for me to get the first one refilled and was quicker to buy another and have delivered. The 15lb that is the newest I purchased I got just to have as a back up. I doubt if there would ever be a problem with having too many fire extinguishers if there is a fire. he flip side of that I don’t care to even think about. CS at Gateway is exemplary. There was a problem with the package sort of getting ‘Misplaced’ temporarily by the shipping company after a delivery didn’t go through because I wasn’t there to sign for it. I let CS know what seemed to be happening as I was watching tracking info that just didn’t add up. CS and I exchanged a number of emails as I was giving updates on what appeared to be it’s misdirected whereabouts. Finally after a few days it surfaced and I went and picked it up at their local office happy ending. Wasn’t any problem or anything to be upset about, stuff happens sometimes and it was insured so why stress it.
I did exchange some very nice friendly e mails with CS about other events and some jokes that had nothing to do with fires or fire equipment or shipping companies. And if your going to spend money on something I always like it when I know the hard earned cash is going to support a business run by personable individuals rather then those cold fish types with no social graces whatsoever. Gateway also is price competitive. But when I first let them know what seemed to be going on they got back to me blinding fast and offered any assistance possible to help resolve the issue. Great products, competitive prices with good people that back up what they say and do. Now isn’t that what being a return customer is all about?
